If you are looking for a local guitar teacher that really knows how to play, then look no more.Dyce can play with the best of them, but has a great way of connecting with guitar players of all skill levels. He has a great depth of knowledge of both music history and equipment related to electric guitars. I have found his knowledge very useful in helping decide what gear to purchase. Dyce listens to what you want to accomplish and together you work towards that goal. Highly recommended for all skill levels.

I just wanted to offer my opinion on Dyce the guitarist. I've been playing with Dyce for the past 10 years+ around Miami – playing rock & blues gigs, recording sessions and putting on concerts. Dyce is a consummate professional, and “for real” pro. I know Dyce is a great teacher, because he's always been about sharing his talents. He's a great “natural” bandleader, and you can see that he really loves sharing his abilities with younger players & students. Beginning players should jump at the opportunity to study with a guy like Dyce. It's not too often that a 'pro's pro' is available to teach new students.

I've been taking lessons with Dyce for over a year and a half now and can honestly say he is a patient man. If he can teach me to play, you'll have no problem! His immediate goal is to get you playing...something, anything. As long as you learn a song, he knows you'll truly enjoy it. And he gets gratification knowing you're enjoying yourself. The rest will just start to flow naturally and next thing you know you're both jammin' to a list of songs you only thought you can hear. Enjoy the jam session...

If you want to learn guitar or your interested in getting better and improving you skills this is the Instructor you want to have. GREAT classes and you will learn more than you thought you could learn. I've improved so much with Dyce's Guitar Lessons if I never would have heard about him I wouldn't be as good as I am today, he opens the gate that leads to the road you want to get to. I've been going to Dyce for guitar lessons for the better part of 3 years, and I will honestly say he took someone who had lost just about all interest in guitar and made it my passion. Dyce knows what he's doing, and he knows his stuff when it comes to playing a guitar. He's a great teacher, a great friend, and if you stick with it and listen to his guidance, he will get you to the level of playing that you want to reach.

I'd never taken a guitar lesson before being instructed by Dyce Kimura, I'd barely held a guitar! After looking at his website, finding out he was n South Florida, and seeing his extensive resume and wealth of knowledge in not just guitar playing but also in singing and how to be a confident artist I KNEW he was the perfect person for my guitar lessons.
